This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), a visionary project aimed at building trade and infrastructure networks that connect Asia with Europe and beyond, following the ancient Silk Road trade routes. Designed for common development and prosperity, the BRI exemplifies a new model for international cooperation through openness, inclusiveness, mutual benefits, and sustainability. 🌏✨

In a recent visit to Tsinghua University in Beijing, CGTN spoke with overseas youth to gauge their expectations for the BRI's future. Chong Wen-fei from Indonesia expressed hope for continued strong relations between countries and the construction of more high-speed railways similar to the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway built by the Chinese mainland. 🚄🇮🇩

Singaporean student Shinna believes that the BRI will enhance economic interdependence among Asian nations by significantly increasing transportation efficiency. \"The BRI really increases the efficiency of transportation,\" Shinna shared, highlighting the initiative's role in fostering closer economic ties across the region. 🤝💼

As the BRI celebrates a decade of progress, the voices of young professionals and students around the world underscore its impact on global development and the aspirations for a more connected and prosperous future. 🌍💬
