Gazans Build Hope from Rubble Amidst Conflict 💔🏠

Meet Muhammad and Mustafa Al-Qudra—two brothers displaced by the ongoing Palestinian-Israeli conflict since October 2023. Their story is one of survival, resilience, and makeshift hope. 🌍✊

In a raw video shared by CGTN Stringer, the brothers are seen piecing together a fragile shelter using wood salvaged from the ruins of Khan Younis. 'We ran from death and bombing,' Muhammad says, describing the night Israeli forces advanced into their area. 'No one slept—it was chaos.'

Their struggle mirrors that of countless Gazans forced to flee repeatedly. Mustafa adds, 'We don’t want to keep moving… but every time we rebuild, the war follows.'

💡 Behind the headlines: Over 1 million Gazans have been displaced since October, many resorting to temporary shelters, tents, or whatever materials they can find. Stories like the Al-Qudras’ highlight the human cost of prolonged conflict—and the quiet defiance of those rebuilding lives from rubble.
