China’s Belt & Road Initiative Turns 10: Dreams Take Flight 🌍✨

This week marks a milestone for global collaboration as China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) celebrates its 10th anniversary! To commemorate this, CGTN and Renmin University of China teamed up for a special China Talk event titled 'Belt & Road: When Dreams Have Wings'.

💡 Imagine building railways through jungles, ports on distant coasts, and tech hubs in bustling cities – that's the BRI in action. The panel brought together architects of these projects who shared real-life stories from Kenya to Indonesia. One speaker described how a Kenya-Nairobi railway created over 46,000 local jobs, while another highlighted digital partnerships boosting Indonesia's e-commerce growth.

🌱 Beyond infrastructure, the discussion revealed how BRI fosters cultural exchange – like Cambodian students learning AI in Chinese labs, or Chinese musicians collaborating with Central Asian artists. 'It’s not just about roads and bridges,' said one guest. 'It’s about people-to-people wingspans.'

With 150+ countries now participating, the BRI’s decade-long journey shows how big visions can create #RealChange. As the panel concluded: When dreams have wings, tomorrow’s map gets redrawn – one connection at a time. 🚀
