Explosions echoed across Gaza today as the Israel Defense Forces intensified their airstrikes against Hamas targets following the expiration of a seven-day temporary truce. The conflict has claimed the lives of over 100 Palestinians since the ceasefire ended.
The Israeli military announced on Friday the resumption of combat operations, citing violations of the truce by Hamas as the reason for ending the temporary peace. As of now, there has been no immediate response from Hamas regarding the renewed hostilities.
