Southern Germany is currently in a winter frenzy as heavy snowfall overnight has brought travel to a standstill. Thousands of passengers are stuck in transit as Munich Airport, a major regional and international hub, has suspended all flights until 6 a.m. (05:00 GMT) Sunday.
The blizzard isn't just affecting air travel—rail services across Bavaria are also halted, making movement across the region a challenge.
Travelers are advised to stay updated and plan accordingly as the extreme weather is expected to continue. Stay warm and safe, Germany!
