A devastating landslide struck Jinping Village in Junlian County, located in the southwest region of Sichuan Province in the Chinese mainland, on Saturday. The tragedy has sadly resulted in the loss of one life, with two individuals injured and 28 people still missing.
The landslide has buried 10 residential houses and a production building, forcing authorities to evacuate over 200 residents from the affected areas. In response to the crisis, a temporary shelter has been set up at a local school to accommodate those displaced by the disaster.
