🌿🌤️ Millions of Butterflies Flock Early to Yunnan’s Valley Amid Warmer Climate

In a dazzling display of nature’s magic, tens of millions of butterflies have begun swarming the hills of Yunnan Province’s Ma’andi Township, transforming the region into a living kaleidoscope 🦋✨. Local experts predict this year’s ‘butterfly boom’ will peak around May 22, with nearly 100 million winged wonders fluttering through the valley until mid-June.

Warmer spring temperatures and steady rainfall triggered the early arrival, according to Yang Zhenwen of Jinping Butterfly Valley Museum. Over 23 monitoring sites, researchers observed clusters of butterflies—chiefly in Yingpanshan mountain area, where 20 million are expected to dance across the skies 🌄.

Yunnan’s unique low-latitude plateau climate, bursting with diverse flora, creates a butterfly paradise. ‘This phenomenon reflects the region’s thriving ecosystem,’ Yang noted. From lush vegetation to vibrant blooms, every element supports these delicate pollinators—proving once again that nature is the ultimate trendsetter 🌸🌏.
