China Boosts Flood Relief with Additional 45M Yuan for Road Restoration 🚧🌧️

China is taking swift action to combat the devastating floods that have wreaked havoc on the country's roads and communities. On Sunday, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) and the Ministry of Transport announced an additional 45 million yuan (about $6.2 million) to support urgent road repairs in the provinces of Anhui, Hubei, Heilongjiang, and Chongqing Municipality.

This new funding follows an earlier allocation of 105 million yuan aimed at restoring roads in Guangdong, Guangxi, Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, and Guizhou. The total investment underscores China’s commitment to ensuring safe travel and minimizing disruptions during the persistent flood season.

Persistent rains have battered many southern regions this summer, damaging roads and buildings and leading to tragic casualties. To address the ongoing challenges, China’s meteorological and water resources authorities have renewed a red alert—the highest-level warning—for mountain torrents as fierce rainstorms continue to pour across the country.

🚧💧 Stay safe and stay updated as China works tirelessly to restore normalcy amidst the relentless rains! 💪🌧️
