China Boosts Agriculture & Disaster Relief with $76.5M Fund ๐ŸŒพ๐Ÿš’

China has rolled out a 546 million yuan ($76.5 million) emergency package to tackle agricultural challenges caused by extreme weather, the Finance Ministry announced Thursday. The move aims to stabilize food security and support farmers hit hard by floods and droughts this season.

๐Ÿ’ฆ Flood Relief: Over 447 million yuan will flow to regions like Heilongjiang and Guangdong to repair damaged crops, fix farm infrastructure, and drain floodwaters. Recent torrential rains disrupted harvests, threatening food supplies.

โ˜€๏ธ Drought Response: Inner Mongolia and other dry areas get 99 million yuan for soil moisture preservation, seedling protection, and livestock feed transport. Teams are deploying tech to mitigate water shortages.

๐ŸŒ Rapid Action: Five government task forces and expert teams are already on the ground in provinces like Jiangxi and Hubei, coordinating disaster management. 'This funding is a lifeline for rural communities,' said a ministry spokesperson.
