China Allocates $33M for Agriculture in Flood-Damaged Regions 🌾💧

China is stepping up its efforts to combat the recent floods by allocating 238 million yuan (about $33.35 million) for disaster relief and agricultural restoration. This significant investment will aid in managing flood-damaged crops, repairing agricultural facilities, and enhancing flood control and drainage in the waterlogged areas of Henan, Hunan, Chongqing, Sichuan, and Shaanxi.

As heavy rains continue to batter the country, the national observatory has issued an orange alert for rainstorms—the second-highest warning level. Expect up to 200 millimeters of rain in the next 24 hours across regions including Beijing, Hebei, Tianjin, Chongqing, Yunnan, and Guangdong. Additionally, a yellow alert has been raised for severe convective weather, with thunderstorms, gales, and hail likely in Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Hebei, and Tianjin over the next couple of days. Stay safe and stay informed! ☔🌧️
