China Issues Orange Alerts for Mountain Floods 🌧️⚠️

Chinese authorities have raised flood alerts as heavy rains threaten northern provinces. The Ministry of Water Resources and China Meteorological Administration issued orange (second-highest) and yellow alerts Sunday evening – the first multi-tier warning this month for mountain torrents.

Areas in Liaoning and Heilongjiang face high risks of flash floods from 8 p.m. Sunday to 8 p.m. Monday. The alerts come as summer monsoon patterns intensify across East Asia. 🌩️
