Disaster struck Ridi village in the early hours of Saturday, destroying homes and a tunnel bridge in the mountainous region of the Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Garze.
Rescue teams are working around the clock in challenging conditions to locate survivors, with over 700 personnel deployed. Local officials emphasized the priority of ensuring residents’ safety and restoring infrastructure.
