Liaoning’s Massive Evacuation: 28,000 Residents Saved from Floodwaters 🌧️🏃

🌊 In a swift response to heavy rains, over 28,000 residents of Liaoning Province in northeast China have been evacuated to safer areas. The recent downpours, which poured down from 7 a.m. Sunday to 7 a.m. Monday, caused water levels in six rivers to surpass warning levels, prompting urgent evacuations.

🌧️ The province experienced intense rainfall, with the largest hourly precipitation hitting 81.9 millimeters in Xinglongtai District of Panjin city. Overall, Liaoning saw an average of 25.4 millimeters of rain in just 24 hours, intensifying the risk of flooding and impacting daily life.
