Hainan Bounces Back After Super Typhoon Yagi ⚡🌊

South China's island province of Hainan is racing to restore electricity, water, and telecom services after Super Typhoon Yagi left a trail of destruction, claiming four lives and injuring 95. Local authorities and utility crews are working around the clock to bring normalcy back to the region 🌏💪.

\"People have generally calmed down,\" said Jiang Jianmin, a Hainan provincial official, during a Sunday press conference. \"Now we’re focusing on recovery.\" Over 900,000 households have regained power, with priority given to hospitals, schools, and water plants, according to Zhao Youcheng of Hainan Power Grid. 🔌🏥

Telecom services are also rebounding: nearly half of the 14,000 damaged cell towers are back online. Chen Xingwu, a communications official, advised residents to use landlines or Wi-Fi if signals are spotty. 💻📶

Water repairs remain a challenge, with 63,000 people still waiting for supply in cities like Haikou. Officials estimate full restoration by midnight. Meanwhile, the province has allocated over $330 million in disaster relief funds, backed by central government support. 💧💰

Hainan’s resilience is shining through—proving even a super typhoon can’t dampen its spirit. 🌴✨
