He further highlighted significant historical events, such as the marriage of Nepali Princess Bhrikuti to Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo during China’s Tang Dynasty, and the pilgrimage of Chinese monk Huen Tsang to Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha. These exchanges have cemented a long-standing cultural bond between the two nations.

Today, this rich cultural tapestry continues to thrive through Buddhism and Hinduism, Nepal’s two largest religions. China's Xizang Autonomous Region is home to Mount Kailash, the holiest Shiva shrine, attracting millions of Hindus from Nepal, India, and around the world.
