China Slams US-Taiwan ‘Military Collusion’ Ahead of Naval Visit

In a strong rebuke, China has criticized what it terms as \\"military collusion\\" between the United States and the Taiwan region. The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Lin Jian, called on Washington to halt any official interactions with Taiwan immediately.

When questioned about the anticipated visit by Taiwan's navy chief to the U.S. next week, Lin reaffirmed that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory. He warned the U.S. against sending mixed signals to \\"Taiwan independence\\" separatist forces.

\\"The one-China principle is the political foundation of China-US relations,\\" Lin stated. \\"China urges the U.S. to fully recognize the high sensitivity of the Taiwan question and the grave harm of relevant issues.\\"

Additionally, Lin urged the United States to uphold its commitments with concrete actions, adhere to the one-China principle, and respect the three China-US joint communiqués.
