China Slams EU Over ‘Discriminatory’ Wind Turbine Probe 🌍⚡

China has raised alarms over new EU measures targeting its green energy sector, calling the bloc’s investigation into Chinese wind turbine suppliers “discriminatory” and a threat to global climate cooperation. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning urged the EU to avoid protectionism, warning it could “cause lose-lose results.”

🔍 The EU’s probe focuses on Chinese subsidies in the wind industry, part of broader trade tensions. But Mao stressed that China’s tech and supply chain advantages are driving affordable clean energy worldwide. “Our exports help fight inflation and climate change,” she said, adding that restrictive policies could slow green transitions.

🌱 The clash highlights growing friction as Europe seeks to shield its industries. Mao countered: “Protectionism isn’t the answer.” China vows to defend its firms’ rights under WTO rules while pushing for fair competition.

⚖️ Analysts say the spat could test global unity on climate goals. With green tech demand soaring, will trade wars cool the planet—or heat up rivalries? Stay tuned for updates!
