China Calls for Justice on Palestinian Nakba Anniversary 🌍✊

76 Years Later: A Push for Peace

China has urged the international community to unite for a 'comprehensive, just, and lasting' resolution to the Palestinian issue, marking the 76th anniversary of the Nakba—the catastrophic displacement of Palestinians following Israel's 1948 independence declaration. 🇵🇸

Escalation in Gaza

As Israel expands its offensive in Rafah, over 450,000 Palestinians have fled the southern Gaza city, per UN data. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin stressed that historical injustices against Palestinians 'haven’t been corrected' and are worsening, citing ongoing displacement and conflict.

China’s Stance

Wang reiterated China’s opposition to military actions in Rafah and collective punishment in Gaza. He called for a Palestinian state based on 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, and backed Palestine’s bid for full UN membership. 'Peaceful coexistence between Israel and Palestine is achievable through dialogue,' he said.

The Road Ahead

China pledged to collaborate globally to promote harmony between Arab and Jewish nations. 🌱 While tensions escalate, Beijing’s emphasis on diplomacy offers a glimmer of hope for a region long plagued by strife.
