President Embalo praised China’s long-term support, reaffirming Guinea-Bissau’s adherence to the one-China principle and backing for global initiatives like building a 'community with a shared future for mankind.' The two nations also pledged to collaborate closely ahead of the FOCAC summit in China this autumn, aiming to deliver 'fruitful results' for Africa-China relations.
