The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Friday it eliminated Saeed Ahmad Abed Khudari, described as a top Hamas money exchanger responsible for funneling funds to the group's military operations. The strikes mark the latest escalation in ongoing counter-terrorism efforts following the October 2023 conflict.
The Money Trail
Khudari reportedly led Al Wefaq Co., a financial network blacklisted by Israel for funding Hamas militants. The IDF claims he intensified activities after his brother, Hamed Khudari, a previous financial conduit for Hamas, was killed in 2019.
Senior Commanders Neutralized
In separate operations, the IDF says it killed Mohammed Hassan Mohammed Awad, a Palestinian Mujahideen Movement commander linked to kidnappings, and Mohammed Saleh Mohammed Al-Bardawil, a Hamas propaganda specialist accused of psychological warfare tactics.
While the IDF frames these strikes as targeting 'terror infrastructure,' regional tensions remain high. No independent verification of the claims has been provided.
