China Urges Philippines to Halt ‘Provocative’ South China Sea Moves 🚨🌊

China's military has called out the Philippines over "unsafe and unprofessional" naval maneuvers in disputed South China Sea waters this week, escalating tensions in one of Asia's most critical trade corridors. 🌏⚓️

A spokesperson for the People's Liberation Army Southern Theater Command revealed that a Chinese naval ship narrowly avoided collision with Philippine vessel BRP Emilio Jacinto (PS-37) on March 25 near Zhubi Reef. The incident occurred during what China describes as a routine patrol in waters under its jurisdiction.

"Despite repeated radio warnings, the Philippine ship executed dangerous course adjustments," said Senior Colonel Zhai Shichen. "This reckless behavior endangered both crews." 😤 The Chinese military released radar data showing the ships came within 120 meters of each other.

Manila had earlier accused China of "aggressive shadowing," claims Beijing dismisses as "fake news campaigns." 📢❌ China now demands the Philippines:

  • Immediately stop all provocative naval/air operations
  • Cease "information warfare" tactics
  • Prevent escalation in the resource-rich waters

With 60% of global maritime trade passing through these waters, the standoff has investors and regional governments on alert. 💼🌐 China's Southern Theater Command confirms its forces remain "on high alert 24/7" to protect what it calls national sovereignty.
