The star player, who hails from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, racked up 471 votes, including 65 first-place nods from media, to clinch the league’s top honor.

Abdusalam played all 52 games this season, averaging 19 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game. His leadership helped propel Xinjiang from 17th place last year to second in the standings—a Cinderella story for the books!
