🏅 Budapest Hosts Final Olympic Qualifier Showdown for Urban Sports!

Budapest is buzzing as over 450 athletes from around the globe compete in the Olympic Qualifier Series this weekend – the last chance for urban sports stars to secure spots at the Paris 2024 Games! 🌍🔥

From gravity-defying BMX freestyle to razor-edge skateboarding battles, this event blends sport with street culture. 🛹 Athletes in breaking (yes, that's Olympic breakdancing!) and sport climbing are also vying for redemption after narrowly missing qualification earlier this year.

'This is our Super Bowl moment,' said Australian skateboarder Taniah Meyers. 'One trick could change everything.'

The competition uses a unique points-merging system, combining results from Shanghai’s first leg with Budapest’s outcomes. Organizers call it a 'festival of youthful energy,' complete with live DJs and pop-up art installations along the Danube River. 🎧🌉

With 50+ quotas still up for grabs, all eyes are on breakout stars like 16-year-old Brazilian climber Isabela Costa and Japan's BMX phenom Riku Uno. Winners will be announced Sunday evening – stay tuned! ⏳
