The Paralympic Village for the 2024 Paris Games is officially prepped to roll out the red carpet for athletes ahead of the August 28 kickoff! With Disneyland-level accessibility magic
and cutting-edge mobility solutions, the village aims to be a game-changer for competitors.
'Everything is accessible – from wheelchair-friendly apartments to dining hall setups that make mealtime effortless,' said former Paralympian Ludivine Munos, now a key organizer. The village even features a 24/7 repair hub by Ottobock , expected to fix 2,000+ prosthetics and wheelchairs during the Games.
Home to 4,400 athletes from 160 countries and regions, this eco-friendly mega-space (think 70 football fields! ) includes training zones, cultural hubs, and anti-doping facilities. Organizers confirmed they’re pulling out all the stops to make this the most inclusive Paralympics yet
.
