Soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo, 39, dropped a bombshell in a recent interview with Portuguese channel NOW: he might hang up his boots at Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr—but not before chasing more glory with Portugal.
"I feel good here… I'm happy to play in Saudi Arabia," Ronaldo said after Al Nassr's 4-1 season-opening win against Al Fayha. While he hinted at retiring in "two or three years," he made it clear he's not done with international play: "I want to help Portugal in the Nations League."
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner dazzled fans Tuesday, assisting Talisca’s opener and scoring a stunning free kick. But don’t expect a coaching career next: "I see myself doing other things outside football. Only God knows the future."
With 917 career goals (and counting), CR7 proves age is just a number. Will he add more trophies before retiring? Stay tuned!
