Guangdong Tigers Roar to Third Straight CBA Victory Over Fujian Sturgeons ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ€

The Guangdong Southern Tigers continued their winning streak by defeating the Fujian Sturgeons with a score of 116-108 in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, on Wednesday. This marks their third consecutive win in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA).

The game kicked off with a tight first quarter, where Guangdong edged out Fujian by just three points, ending the quarter at 32-29. The second quarter saw Fujian's Darius Bazley and Troy Gillenwater ignite their offense, sinking six out of seven 3-pointers. Despite Fujian's efforts, Guangdong's Will Barton contributed another six points, helping the home team build a 13-point lead by halftime, with the score standing at 65-52.

Coming out of halftime, Bazley and Gillenwater continued to push Fujian forward, amassing a combined 24 points in the second half. However, Guangdong's defense stepped up notably in the fourth quarter, allowing them to extend their lead to 21 points, reaching 105-84. Although Joseph Young and Frank Mason III of Fujian made strong runs in the final minutes, they couldn't overcome Guangdong's dominance.

Fujian Sturgeons remain at the bottom of the CBA standings with five consecutive losses, joining the Sichuan Blue Whales, Jiangsu Dragons, and Guangzhou Loong Lions in the winless club.
