Kyrgyzstan pulled off a nail-biting overtime victory against Kuwait, winning 9-8 in the opening men's ice hockey match at the Harbin Asian Winter Games on Monday. With just four days left until the grand Opening Ceremony, excitement is heating up! 🏒❄️✨

Early on, Anton Tcibin and Ilia Drozdetskikh heated up the scoreboard, each scoring two goals to help Kuwait take a 5-3 lead in the first period. The Kuwaitis further extended their edge to 7-3, but Kyrgyzstan made an incredible comeback by tying the game at 8-8 in the final minute of the third period.

Kyrgyzstan's captain, Mamed Seifulov, was the hero of the hour, scoring just 19 seconds into overtime to secure the thrilling victory. 🥅⚽
