Al Hilal kicked off the scoring early in the 10th minute when Malcom made a swift move from the right wing, dribbling past the Persepolis defense and slotting the ball into the bottom corner past goalkeeper Alexis Guendouz.
The momentum continued as Joao Cancelo doubled the lead 15 minutes later with a powerful right-foot drive into the bottom corner after quick passing sequences.
In the 38th minute, Malcom assisted captain Salem Al-Dawsari, who deftly took the ball past Guendouz and scored from a tight angle, boosting Al Hilal's tally to three goals.
Al Hilal didn't stop there. During stoppage time, Cancelo set up Al-Dawsari for his second goal of the match, smashing a first-time shot into the top corner to extend the lead to 4-0 before halftime.
Persepolis managed to score a consolation penalty in the 90th minute after Ali Albulayhi was penalized for a foul in the box, with Giorgi Gvelesiani successfully converting the spot kick.
