Shandong Taishan Triumphs Over Gwangju in AFC Champions League Elite 
Shandong Taishan gave themselves a real chance of reaching the round of 16 in the AFC Champions League Elite with a convincing 3-1 victory over South Korean side Gwangju on Tuesday at home. All the goals were scored in the first half, making it an exciting match for fans!
The action kicked off in the 16th minute when Valeri Qazaishvilli found himself unmarked and confidently slotted the ball past the goalkeeper to make it 1-0 for Taishan. They didn't stop there, doubling their lead in the 33rd minute thanks to Brazil's Zeca scoring his first goal for the hosts.
Gwangju tried to mount a comeback with Lee Min-ki pulling one back in the 35th minute from a deflected effort, making it 2-1. But Shandong restored their two-goal advantage during first half stoppage time with another strike from Brazilian Cryzan, sealing the final score at 3-1.
While Gwangju has already qualified for the knockout phase, finishing fourth in the group, Shandong Taishan currently sits sixth and will need to win their last match next week to secure a spot among the top eight teams moving forward.
Shanghai Port Faces Tough Defeat by Vissel Kobe 

In another thrilling AFC Champions League Elite match, Shanghai Port suffered a 4-0 loss against Vissel Kobe. Despite goalkeeper Yan Junling’s heroic penalty save, the Japanese hosts dominated the game.
Yuya Osako, Koya Yuruki, Yuya Kuwasak, and Yoshinori Muto were on target for Kobe, who cruised into the knockout phase with this victory.
