Two Chinese athletes, Liu Mengting and Han Linshan, have secured their spots in the women's big air freeski final at the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships in Switzerland! 🌍❄️ The duo dominated the qualifiers on Wednesday, with Liu scoring 166.25 points for fourth place and Han landing eighth with 158.75 points. Both will compete in Thursday’s final, aiming to bring home medals for China.
Out of four Chinese contenders, Yang Ruyi and Xiong Wenhui narrowly missed qualifying—finishing 12th and 23rd, respectively. Meanwhile, Xiong Shirui, a 2025 Asian Winter Games snowboarding gold medalist, faced tough competition in her event. Despite cracking 60 points twice, she placed 14th with 130.25 overall. Still, Xiong remains upbeat: 'I’m satisfied—this was a learning experience for the future.' 💪
Stay tuned as Liu and Han gear up for their high-flying final runs! Will they stick the landing? 🏔️👏
