Chinese Duo Li & Wang Wheelchair Tennis Final Thriller 🎾🇨🇳

Chinese wheelchair tennis stars Li Xiaohui and Wang Ziying delivered a fierce battle at the French Open doubles final, narrowly missing the title in a gripping three-set showdown. The pair fell 4-6, 7-5, 10-7 to Japan's Yui Kamiji and South Africa's Kgothatso Montjane on Friday, but their journey has already made waves in the sport 🌊.

Fresh off their historic Australian Open victory in January—China's first Grand Slam wheelchair tennis title—Li and Wang dominated the first set in Paris. But Kamiji and Montjane, seasoned Roland Garros finalists, turned the tide with relentless rallies, capitalizing on late errors to snatch the trophy 🏆.

"Failure is the mother of success," said Wang post-match. "We'll learn from this and come back stronger." Li added: "Every match teaches us something. We’ll train harder for future tournaments."

Li also faced Kamiji in a marathon singles semifinal earlier, losing 6-2, 6-7(4), 6-4. Kamiji now advances to face the Netherlands' Aniek van Koot.

With their fighting spirit and trailblazing achievements, Li and Wang are redefining China’s presence in wheelchair tennis—and the world is watching 👀.
