Chinese Stars Shine in Historic Olympic Torch Journey
Four Chinese athletes, led by Olympic gymnastics silver medalist Zhang Boheng, made waves during the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics torch relay in Greece this week! 🌍🔥 The flame, lit Wednesday in Kalavryta, traveled through scenic routes including the iconic Rio–Antirrio Bridge before reaching Patras.
Joining Zhang were basketball player Wang Siyu, cross-country runner Wu Yongbo, and sprint sensation Chen Yujie—fresh off her double gold wins at China’s 15th National Games earlier this month. 🏃♀️💨 "It’s a huge encouragement for myself," Zhang told reporters, while Wu cheered on winter athletes: "I hope they realize their Olympic dreams in Milan!"
