Su Yiming Shreds into Olympic Slopestyle Final on 22nd Birthday 🎿🎉

Chinese snowboarder Su Yiming is flipping the script on birthday celebrations this year—he’ll be chasing Olympic gold in the men’s slopestyle final at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games this Wednesday, which also happens to be his 22nd birthday! 🎂

Despite wild weather forcing organizers to reschedule qualifiers, Su landed an 8th-place finish with a clutch second-run score of 72.78. New Zealand’s Dane Menzies topped the leaderboard (86.06), but all eyes are on Su—the Beijing 2022 slopestyle silver medalist who’s already bagged bronze in big air earlier this Games. Talk about a glow-up! 💫

Meanwhile, teammate Ge Chunyu competed with a cracked rib from the big air event, finishing 28th. Debutant Yang Wenlong placed 22nd after a last-run spill. Respect for the grind! 👏

Will Su’s birthday magic strike twice? Tune in Wednesday for what could be an all-time Olympic moment. 🏂❄️
