China's Space Heroes Back on Earth!
The Shenzhou-17 astronauts – Tang Hongbo, Tang Shengjie, and Jiang Xinlin – made their first public appearance Friday since completing their record-breaking 187-day mission aboard China's space station. All three confirmed they're 'back to baseline health' after intense recovery.
Breaking Records & Birthday Cakes
Commander Tang Hongbo (now China's most experienced space traveler ) called the mission a 'privilege,' while Tang Shengjie celebrated his 34th birthday mid-orbit – talk about cosmic candles! The crew conducted 84 experiments, collected 200+ samples, and nailed China's first in-space maintenance work during two successful spacewalks.
What's Next? More Training!
After passing final health checks, the trio will resume regular training. Jiang Xinlin joked that their textbook-perfect spacewalk felt 'like a simulation' thanks to rigorous prep. Meanwhile, Tang Shengjie is already eyeing his next mission: "Space isn't done with us yet!"
