ACG GBA 2024 Festival Ignites Global Fandom with Animation & Gaming Flair 🚀

The ACG Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) 2024 festival just wrapped its debut edition—and it’s already a cultural phenomenon! 🌟 Following the record-breaking release of Black Myth: Wukong, this three-day event in Shenzhen’s Futian Convention Center (Sept. 15-17) brought together anime, gaming, and comic fans from over 10 countries for a next-level celebration of creativity.

🎮 Highlights included a classic animation music festival (Cue the Studio Ghibli nostalgia!) and an electrifying Asia-Pacific cosplay carnival featuring jaw-dropping outfits inspired by global franchises. Exhibitors from France, Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia showcased cutting-edge VR gaming tech and indie comic art—proving the GBA is now a global hub for digital culture.

Organized by China Animation Comic Game Group and partners, the festival aims to supercharge collaboration between animation studios, game developers, and tourism sectors across the region. With over 1.2 million gamers flocking to Black Myth: Wukong in its first day alone, the GBA’s cultural clout is skyrocketing faster than a Dragon Ball Z power-up! 💥
