China is making waves in the space and technology sectors! ADA Space, a leading Chinese AI satellite internet technology company, announced on Sunday that their newly launched satellite has successfully passed crucial tests for AI large-model technology while orbiting the Earth.
From September 25 to October 5, the satellite conducted 13 comprehensive tests of its AI large model, tackling various types of inference questions under diverse conditions. These technical verifications confirmed the space adaptability of ADA Space's AI large model, the reliability of the satellite's computing platform, and the robust computing power of its high-performance payloads during space operations.
Looking ahead, the satellite is set to embark on generating 3D remote-sensing data using AI directly in orbit. This cutting-edge AI 3D-imaging capability is poised to support a wide range of digital twin applications across multiple sectors, including low-altitude economies, cultural tourism, and sports.
The satellite made its journey to space aboard a Smart Dragon-3 carrier rocket, launching from the waters near Haiyang in Shandong Province, east China, on September 24.
