China Boosts Healthcare Aid for Palestinian Refugees with Insulin Syringe Donation ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’‰

China has stepped up its humanitarian efforts this week, delivering millions of insulin syringes to Palestinian refugees in Jordan through a partnership with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). The initiative, launched Wednesday at Baqa'a Refugee Camp, addresses a critical need for diabetes care in displaced communities.

Over 43,000 refugees across the West Bank, Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria will benefit from the program. In Jordan alone, 11 million syringes will be distributedโ€”enough to cover daily insulin needs for local refugees for a full year. ๐Ÿฉบ With approximately 30,000 Palestinian refugees in Jordan diagnosed with diabetes, this donation could be life-changing for the 14,000 relying on regular insulin injections.

"This collaboration reflects China's commitment to global health equity," said a UNRWA representative during the handover event. The project aligns with Sustainable Development Goals while showcasing cross-border solidarity in action. ๐Ÿค
