Police revealed the driver had also been shot by a fleeing gunman, who remains at large. LAPD’s Lillian Carranza stated the suspect is hospitalized in stable condition but ‘not free to leave.’ Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass called the event a ‘heartbreaking tragedy,’ with a full investigation ongoing.

The Vermont Hollywood club, which hosted a reggae and hip-hop event that night, expressed deep sadness over the incident. The area, near Sunset Boulevard and the Walk of Fame, is a hotspot for nightlife and tourism. 🌆
