Iran Slams Europe Over Nuclear Deal Tensions 🌍⚛️

Iran has accused Britain, France, and Germany of failing to uphold their commitments under the 2015 nuclear deal, escalating tensions as talks to revive the agreement hang in the balance. 🔥 Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei claimed the European trio—dubbed the E3—have "been at fault and negligent" in implementing the pact, which aimed to curb Tehran’s nuclear activities in exchange for sanctions relief.

The drama unfolded after the E3 threatened to reimpose UN sanctions via a "snapback mechanism" by late August if negotiations stall. 💣 Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi fired back, urging Europe to ditch "worn-out policies of threat" and act "responsibly." Talks between Iran and the E3 are set for Friday in Istanbul, marking their first high-level discussion since U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities last month.

The 2015 deal, which included China and Russia, has been on life support since the U.S. withdrew in 2018. 🚨 While Tehran insists its nuclear program is peaceful, Western powers demand stricter limits on uranium enrichment to prevent weaponization. With the UN Security Council resolution underpinning the deal expiring in October, the clock is ticking louder than ever. ⏳

Will diplomacy prevail, or are we headed for a new chapter of sanctions and saber-rattling? Stay tuned. 📡
