Iran Blasts U.S. and Europe as Nuclear Deal Tensions Escalate 🌍⚛️

Iran has launched sharp criticism at the U.S. and European powers as UN sanctions linked to the 2015 nuclear deal are set to resume, reigniting global tensions. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian accused Washington of creating "fresh pretexts" to block progress, calling America "the main obstacle" to reviving the agreement.

Pezeshkian revealed he informed France, Britain, and Germany of Iran's willingness to cooperate with nuclear inspectors during the UN General Assembly. But the European trio triggered the deal's "snapback" mechanism last month, reinstating sanctions in response to Tehran scaling back compliance since the U.S. withdrew in 2018.

Sanctions Snap Back 💥

As sanctions take effect, Iran recalled its ambassadors from Paris, London, and Berlin. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi slammed the move as "illegal and void," blaming the crisis on "U.S. betrayal and Europe's inaction." His verdict? "The U.S. betrayed diplomacy. The Europeans buried it."

The escalating standoff leaves the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) – once hailed as a diplomatic triumph – hanging by a thread. With both sides digging in, the world watches to see if this high-stakes chess match will lead to renewed negotiations or deeper conflict.
