Hamas to Deploy Security in Gaza as Ceasefire Begins 🕊️🔒

Hamas security forces are set to take control of Gaza Strip areas vacated by Israeli troops following a fragile ceasefire agreement, marking a critical step in stabilizing the war-torn region. The Hamas-run interior authority announced Friday that its forces will address post-war chaos, restore public order, and ensure safety for residents. 🌍⚖️

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, however, emphasized that troops will remain in Gaza to pressure Hamas until the group disarms. The Israeli military has begun withdrawing to initial positions but maintains a presence to counter “immediate threats.” 🔄💥

The ceasefire, mediated by Egypt, Qatar, Türkiye, and the U.S., includes phased Israeli withdrawals from key cities like Gaza City and Rafah, plus humanitarian aid access via five crossings. Hostage and prisoner releases are also part of the deal—a glimmer of hope after two years of devastating conflict. 🤝✌️

While Hamas hailed the agreement as a victory for Palestinians, tensions linger. Analysts call it a “high-stakes chess game” as both sides navigate trust gaps. Residents brace for a new reality, with security forces urging cooperation amid uncertainty. 🏙️🔍
