ICE Operation Sparks Chaos in Minnesota After Multi-Car Crash 🚨

Federal Pursuit Ends in Collision, Reignites Immigration Debate

A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operation turned chaotic in Saint Paul, Minnesota, this week when a high-speed pursuit resulted in a multi-vehicle crash. 🚗💥 The incident occurred Wednesday in the Cathedral Hill neighborhood, leaving two hospitalized and multiple cars damaged.

According to Saint Paul police, ICE agents attempted to stop a Honduran national who entered the U.S. illegally. The driver allegedly fled, leading to a reckless chase that ended with collisions involving at least four vehicles. An ICE car was among those struck.

‘Reckless Enforcement’ Claims

Saint Paul Mayor Kaohly Her condemned the operation, stating it 'endangered residents' and amplified calls to end Operation Metro Surge – a federal immigration crackdown launched earlier this year. 📢 'This isn’t about security – it’s about chaos,' she told Minnesota Public Radio.

DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin defended ICE’s actions, calling the driver’s evasion 'a direct threat to public safety.' The hospitalized individuals are reported in stable condition.

The incident has sparked fresh debates on social media, with #StopICE trending locally. As federal and local authorities clash, Minnesota residents are left asking: At what cost?
