US-Israeli Strikes Hit Iran Petrochemical Sites, 5 Injured 🌍💥

At least five people were injured Saturday morning after US-Israeli attacks targeted multiple petrochemical facilities in Iran’s southwestern Khuzestan province, according to Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency. The strikes mark the latest escalation in a months-long regional conflict that has drawn global concern. 💣

The attacked companies—Fajr 1 and 2, Regal, Amirkabir, Bandar Imam, and Buali Sina—were hit at 10:47 a.m. local time, with officials warning of potential additional casualties. Khuzestan’s deputy governor Valiollah Hayati confirmed the Shalamcheh border trade terminal in Khorramshahr city was also severely damaged, disrupting cross-border commerce. 🚚🔥

Authorities evacuated the Mahshahr Special Petrochemical Zone following the attacks. This incident follows a February 28 joint US-Israeli operation that killed Iran’s then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and triggered retaliatory missile strikes by Tehran. Tensions remain at a boiling point, with analysts warning of further regional instability. 🌪️
