Iran Denies Talks with US Amid Rising Tensions 🇮🇷🇺🇸

Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has shut down rumors of revived negotiations with the United States, calling recent claims by U.S. President Donald Trump about upcoming talks "unfounded." The statement comes after Trump suggested discussions with Tehran would resume next week.

"No agreement or promise has been made," Araghchi emphasized during a Thursday interview with state broadcaster IRIB. He stressed that any decision to return to the negotiating table would hinge on protecting Iran’s national interests. 🔍

The denial follows sharp criticism from Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who accused Trump of overhyping the impact of U.S. military strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities. Tensions between the two nations remain high, with both sides locked in a diplomatic stalemate reminiscent of a high-stakes chess match. ♟️

For now, the ball is in Iran’s court—but as Araghchi made clear, Tehran won’t make a move unless it’s a checkmate for their priorities. 🌐
