๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ Heroes Return: 43 Chinese Martyrs Come Home After 70 Years ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

In a historic moment of remembrance, the remains of 43 Chinese Peopleโ€™s Volunteers martyrsโ€”who fell during the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea (1950-1953)โ€”will finally return to their homeland from the Republic of Korea (ROK) this week. The emotional repatriation, organized by Chinaโ€™s Ministry of Veterans Affairs, marks a continued effort to honor those who sacrificed their lives in the conflict.

A solemn ceremony in Incheon on November 28 will seal the martyrsโ€™ coffins and complete transfer documents, followed by a heartfelt memorial service at the airport. The remains will then be flown to Shenyang, where a formal welcome ceremony and burial at a local cemetery will take place on November 29. Since 2014, 938 martyrsโ€™ remains have been repatriated under similar arrangements between China and the ROK.

๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿค๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ The handover underscores evolving cross-border ties and shared efforts to heal historical wounds. For younger generations, these ceremonies serve as a poignant reminder of the human cost of warโ€”and the power of reconciliation.
