Red Flag! 🚩 China Warns Japan Over First Post-WWII Overseas Missile Launch

Things are heating up in the Asia-Pacific region! 🌏 China has expressed serious concerns after Japan did something it hasn't done since World War II: launched offensive missiles overseas. 🚀

During the "Balikatan" joint military exercise between the U.S. and the Philippines, Japan fired Type 88 missiles. This move has sparked a strong reaction from the Chinese foreign ministry, with spokesperson Lin Jian warning that Japan's "neo-militarism" is on the rise. ⚠️

Lin didn't hold back, stating that Japan's right-wing forces are pushing for remilitarization and breaking past the limits of their "exclusively defense-oriented policy." Essentially, China believes these actions have gone far beyond the scope of simple self-defense. 📉

Adding to the gravity of the situation, this comes during a significant year—the 80th anniversary of the opening of the Tokyo Trial. China pointed out that instead of deeply reflecting on its historical aggression and colonial rule in Southeast Asian countries, including the Philippines, the former aggressor is sending military forces overseas under the guise of "security cooperation." 🏛️

The message from Beijing is clear: Japan needs to look back at its militarist history, stick to its commitments, and be much more careful with its military and security moves to ensure regional peace and stability. 🕊️💬
