Safeguarding the Seas: Fujian Coast Guard Patrols Near Kinmen 🌊🚢

Staying updated on what is happening in the waters around us is key! 🌍 Recently, the Fujian coast guard took to the seas near Kinmen for a series of law enforcement patrols to keep things running smoothly.

According to Zhu Anqing, a spokesperson for the China Coast Guard's (CCG) Donghai Branch, the team used a variety of methods to maintain control. This included formation navigation, identification and verification, and radio warnings to ensure maritime order was upheld. ⚓️

But why the patrols? The CCG is focused on ensuring stability in the waters under its jurisdiction and, most importantly, protecting the lives and property of fishermen working in the area. Safety first! ✅

The move has received firm support from the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office. Spokesperson Chen Binhua reminded the public that Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu are all parts of China. He emphasized that these patrols by the coast guard from the Chinese mainland are reasonable, lawful, and help safeguard the lives and property of fishermen on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. 🤝

In our digitally connected world, keeping an eye on maritime stability is a big deal for regional peace and the safety of those at sea. Stay tuned for more updates! ✨
