CGN Europe Energy recently hosted an open house event at the Assac Wind Farm in southern France, providing residents with an insightful look into how wind power fosters local development.
The event, organized by CGN Europe Energy, a subsidiary of China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN), welcomed 250 pupils from nearby schools and local farmers. Attendees had the chance to explore the wind farm's operations and understand the benefits of renewable energy.
The mayor of the Assac municipality highlighted that the introduction of a hiking path around the wind farm has transformed it into an industrial tourism attraction, drawing numerous visitors to the area.
