The crash happened at around 3:40 p.m. at a railway crossing, and things quickly escalated. The impact triggered a fire and a massive explosion, involving several nearby cars and motorcycles in the chaos. Rescuers rushed to the scene, fighting the blaze and working tirelessly to pull victims from the wreckage. 🚨
So, what actually happened? According to Deputy Minister of Transport Siripong Angkasakulkiat, it was a tragic chain of events. The bus had stopped at the crossing because of a red light, but in doing so, it prevented the railway barrier from lowering. Because the freight train was so heavy, it simply couldn't brake in time to avoid the collision. 🚆🚌
