Stage one of SINAR is set to generate up to 84,000 megawatt-hours (MWh) of clean electricity every year, covering about 7% of the refinery's total energy needs. By early 2029, the refinery's production capacity is expected to nearly triple—jumping from 8 million to 20 million tonnes per year.
